Welcome to 1st East Wahroonga Scout Group!

1st East Wahroonga Scout Group provides fun youth development activities which build resilient and confident boys and girls through the scouting movement.  We also welcome adult volunteer Scout Leaders.  Scouts has opportunities for the whole family to be involved (have you considered becoming an adult volunteer Scout Leader?). Everyone is welcome, and we value the diversity of our members. We offer fun activities for ages 8 - 14 on Monday nights, as well as optional weekend activities for members.  

• Scouts (11-15 years old): Monday 7:00 – 9:00pm

• Cubs (8-11 years old):  Monday 5:30 to 7:00pm

In summary, current costs to participate in scouting are $280 per year PLUS there is a one off Scouts NSW joining fees of $60 for new members.  These charges are paid to Scouts NSW and pay for the cost of scouting including insurance.  1st East Wahroonga charges $30 per school term to help cover our costs like electricity and water and some activities.
